16 Mar Full Steam Ahead in Garden City, SC
Work continues on the new Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin in Garden City, South Carolina. Diners in the Myrtle Beach area will soon have some new and unique restaurants to choose from. Collier Restaurant Group, headquartered in Sevierville, Tennessee, have begun their plans to expand their company to Horry County, South Carolina. This will be the group’s first move outside of Tennessee.
The first restaurant in the plan, Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin, will be located at 2851 US-17 Business in Garden City. The Flapjack’s concept was created by owner Brent Collier in Sevierville, Tennessee in 2001. During the past fifteen years, the cozy log-cabin themed brand has grown from one to seven locations. Garden City will be the eighth and is scheduled to open this Summer. You can currently find Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and most recently Knoxville, Tennessee.
Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin offers made from scratch breakfasts including their famous sticky bun pancakes, breakfast skillets, omelets, egg platters and much more. Beyond serving dozens of breakfast favorites, the restaurant company also specializes in Southern hospitality. Flapjack’s is aiming to be the most delicious and friendliest breakfast and lunch spot in the Myrtle Beach area. The Smoky Mountain log-cabin theme, which features stunning woodwork and 2 large stacked stone fireplaces, will be present in the new Garden City location.
