01 Sep Places To Eat in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg
There are a lot of dining choices when you’re on a Smoky Mountain vacation. So many places to eat! Wanna know our favorites? Grab a snack and get ready to be hungry…
Breakfast
Well that’s a no brainer… Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin! Our breakfasts are made from scratch and everything is made to order. We offer a great selection of pancakes and waffles, but we also specialize in omelets, country ham, biscuits and gravy and our famous skillet breakfasts. Need coffee? We give you the whole carafe along with your mug so you can refill whenever you’d like! We serve Tennessee products including Mayfield Milk, White Lilly and more. And with seven convenient locations, you can bet we are easy to find and near your hotel or favorite attractions!
Buffet
When it comes to feeding the family or a group of any size, choosing a restaurant can be difficult. But at Golden Corral, there’s something for everyone! Golden Corral features 150+ items on their buffet. And here’s a little known Golden Corral fact… THEY MAKE EVERYTHING FROM SCRATCH! Yes, even their mashed potatoes! Their dinner buffet boasts grilled to order steaks, rotisserie chicken, pot roast, seafood and more. Where else can you get a made from scratch meal of soup and salad, endless entrees and sides, dinner rolls and cornbread, AND ENDLESS MADE FROM SCRATCH DESSERTS for one low price? Nowhere… at least not in this town. Be sure to include Golden Corral into your dining plan when visiting Sevierville and Pigeon Forge and check their awesome reviews on Trip Advisor.
BBQ
It has to be Corky’s BBQ! It’s the tender, slow smoked, Memphis-style BBQ that keeps their guests coming back year after year. Their brisket, pork, chicken, turkey and sausage is slow smoked on site every day and is seasoned to perfection with Corky’s famous dry rub or BBQ Sauce. Do not… we repeat… do not go to Corky’s without ordering their Fried Pickles. Trust us, you won’t be disappointed. You can dine-in for lunch or dinner, visit the drive thru for a quick meal, or pick up their family packs. Vacation Tip: Grab a Corky’s Family Pack and head to the Smoky Mountains for a picnic!
Something Different
If you’re looking for a truly unique dining experience, why not fondue? We recommend The Melting Pot in Gatlinburg. If you are in a hurry and looking for a quick meal, try The Melting Pot some other time. But if you want to take a break, relax, enjoy the company of your loved ones and enjoy a leisurely and delectable meal, The Melting Pot is for you. You can order all four courses for a fondue feast, or simply do with cheese or chocolate only. Whether you are looking for one, two, three or all four courses, you choose your own menu at The Melting Pot. We suggest a pot of cheese fondue paired with a glass of local wine. And most definitely dessert… a pot of chocolate served with indulgent dippers like pound cake, fresh fruit and more.
Something New
Ever been to a Quaker Steak & Lube? They opened in Sevierville in June of 2015 and they’ve been packed ever since! Who wouldn’t want to dine under a classic Corvette or a spinning Harley Davidson? The automobile themed restaurant is fun for all ages! Their prices are incredibly reasonable and they’re known for their award winning wings. With 25 different sauces to choose from, you can go for something sweet or something sinfully spicy! They offer a great array of appetizers, salads, sandwiches & wraps, burgers, steaks and more. The kids will love Quaker Steak! Their meals are served in race car boxes that they can keep, and there is a great arcade with top of the line games. Quaker Steak & Lube Sevierville offers over 50 tvs and is a great place to watch the game, race or fight. Check out their event calendar at http://thelube.com/locations/tennessee/sevierville/.
Something Classic
TGI Friday’s is America’s favorite casual dining restaurant. There is a TGI Friday’s in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We love dining on the patio and sometimes we go to catch the NFL games (all three locations offer the Direct TV NFL Ticket!). Their appetizers are deeeee-licious and we can’t get enough of that Jack Daniel’s sauce! Be sure to try their Brownie Obsession for dessert… you can thank us later!
Of course there are hundreds of other places to eat in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but these are just a few of our favorites. Bon appetite!
